Hi, I am Chandan Mahapatra. I am currently pursuing Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester.
Digital product design is something that I am very passionate about. I strive to make technology more accessible through user-centered design.
During weekends you can find me trying out new design tools, playing FIFA, watching stand-up comedy and listening to some nice post rock music.

User research is very important in the design process. I conduct user interviews, create surveys, personas and scenarios to understand user problems and requirements. My design process includes qualitative and quantitative research methods.
I design user interfaces in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma and Sketch. My prototypes are brought to life with Adobe Experience Design, Axure, Invision and Principle.
I conduct Heuristic Evaluations and usability tests to figure out design problems in product. User testing can also provide feedback that can help improve the user experience of a product.
